Mind's influence over Body


Though we think of Mind and Body as two separate entities, both of them are having great connection such that one has influence over the other. How is that possible?


Now let us look at an example. There was a guy who often worried much about his health. Once he had got a headache. Then he went to the doctor and as usual the doctor gave some medicines. After that only after he ate the medicine that he was satisfied. Note the word satisfied. Only then he was able to move free from the Headache. His subconscious mind had been programmed that if he eats the medicine he will be free from the headache. Thus it’s clear that the Mind has a deep connection with the Body. Once you learn how to perform hypnosis you will know how easy it is to get rid of the headache. You enter into a relaxing state.
In what other ways is the Mind connected with the body? To be fair they are not disconnected in any way what so ever.


Why are we learning so much about the Mind’s connection with the Body? Because without knowing how the Mind and the Body are connected performing Hypnosis is impossible.


Once I read a book “Mind over Body” by Dr. Vernon Coleman when I didn’t know much about Hypnosis. It was a great opportunity for me to get a chance to read such a nice book. In that there was a chapter about relaxations with five pleasant environments to imagine. The imagination or Visualization guides us with the relaxation process. Though the word Hypnosis was not mentioned in the Chapter, that relaxation process is a form of Self Hypnosis to control stress and emotions. All of a sudden you will become free from all the worries. The state of “thoughtlessness” or “emptiness” is great to be in at.

Try this out
Visualize yourself being in a place that you have always enjoyed so much. (Your eyes should be closed) Jump out of the reality world. Think of the words that you heard. What did you taste? What did you feel? Just feel the passion now. Once you perform this you will find yourself relaxing so much and you would enjoy it. You can realize the value of Hypnosis.
