Most of people have a general
impression of what hypnosis is, but
yet only a very few understand the processes that take place during a Hypnosis session. Are you curious of
knowing the internal processes? In order to become a master in performing Hypnosis it is an utmost necessity to know
these things in the first.
Now just guess what sort of processes may happen during this period. First of all Hypnotherapists use some techniques to deal with the mind. Their purpose is to gradually move from the conscious mind to the subconscious mind. The next important thing is that you enter into the REM state or the State of Random Eye Movement. This might seem a little bit technical, but a very simple process. This can be easily observed during the time when we sleep. We sleep in order to get good rest. At that time our body muscles are being replenished. But most people are not aware of the case that we do not sleep evening throughout the whole night. The most effective period is the “Deep Sleep” when we are empty of thoughts. The other type is the Random Eye Movement Sleep during when we often see Dreams. If you observe a person when he is being hypnotised, rapid eye movements can be seen. But remember you are not in the state of sleep.
The most interesting aspect of being in a hypnotic state is that you are in a total resting condition. You really love that feeling and are free from everyday thoughts. Once when I performed Self Hypnosis to me I actually felt so much fantastic.
Are you turned into a guy who you really are not during Hypnosis? What I mean is whether your own thoughts are being blocked or not. Don’t worry, YOU are YOURSELF without any change even during hypnosis and are also fully aware of the surrounding. Maybe you will be more aware than when you are conscious. You may have heard that some people are in an alpha state, others in Beta and so. Alpha level thinkers, Beta level thinkers are all common words that we have come across. This is my assumption. When you perform Self Hypnosis then you may also feel this. At that time I could think clearly. The frequency of the waves in my brain had lowered increasing my attention. I felt like being in a meditative state. Meditation will become easy when you learn Hypnosis.
